Mike Wills

Mike has been privileged to live in coastal British Columbia his whole life. He started sailing at the age of seven in optimist dinghy’s at the Deep Cove Yacht Club. This was the beginning of thousands of days on the water both at work and at play in 14 foot boats all the way to ships as long as 400 feet.

He completed the International Institute of Marine Surveying (IIMS) Professional Qualification in Marine Surveying in 2021. He also holds a Masters Degree in Maritime Management from the Marine Institute at Memorial University and a Yacht Master Offshore Certificate from the International Sail and Power Association. He is an Affiliate member of IIMS and a member of American Boat and Yacht Council.

Mike is a practicing marine surveyor, ORC Canada measurer and is dedicated to supporting the local racing community.
